Carroll Media Completes 2,500 Times Square DooH Audits

QR Codes Were Prevalent in OOH Images Collected During October 2011

Carroll Media Services collected more than 1500 outdoor advertising images across 24 markets for their OutdoorAdVault Image Database during October 2011. A review of these images revealed that 23 different outdoor advertisers  included a QR code as part of the creative.

CMS Reports Convenience Store OOH Program 86% Compliant

Carroll Media Services recently completed an outdoor advertising audit for a National Convenience Store chain and reported that on average  that 86% of the units were compliant and met the contractual requirements.  As many as 25% of the scheduled units in some markets had deficiencies reported, however.  All units were inspected for on-time posting, working illumination, condition of copy, and visibility standards.  The program was a general market campaign utilizing Traditional Bulletins and Digital Bulletins.  CMS audited a total of 107 … Read more

CMS Recommends 27% Changes to Outdoor Advertising Media Plan

Carroll Media Services recently completed an outdoor advertising pre-ride for a National Entertainment Company and recommended that 27% of the charted units be changed due to poor quality and coverage standards.  As many as 40% of the charted units in some markets were recommended for change.  An additional 9% of all units required maintenance prior to posting.   The program was targeted to a specific demographic utilizing Posters, Shelters, and Bulletins.  CMS checked a total of 222 units in 13 … Read more
