Kurt K. joined the Carroll Media Services Field Professional Team in 2006.
Kurt was born and raised south of Detroit, graduating from Eastern Michigan University with a BS in Telecommunications and Marketing.
Kurt began his post-college career crafting greeting card copy and marketing materials for Detroit-based Avanti Press Greeting Cards. Kurt’s first exposure to the out-of-home industry was during the seven years he worked as a Marketing Communications manager for Arbitron Media Research in New York. While in New York, he met his now-wife, Angela. In addition to his Carroll Media position, Kurt currently works as a freelance copywriter and marketing consultant. As a work-from-home writer, Kurt relishes the opportunity that Carroll Media presents to work in the field as well as the “detective work” required to uncover and document unique in-store collateral.
After stays in Brooklyn, Atlanta, Queens and Raleigh, Kurt and Angela currently live in Little Rock, Arkansas. Kurt and Angela are delighted to be the parents of 5-year-old Emma and 8-month-old Benjamin. Although a city boy at heart, Kurt enjoys the crazy hot weather, ample hiking opportunities and biking trails found in central Arkansas.
